I built an X-wing years ago but I made the mistake of building one that looked like it had came out of the factory , I never even gave it a thought to making it something like the movie ...... ie weathered . If I ever do another X-wing ....... it'll be battered ......but not like Red Three -...

That base is looking great , loving the green pentagrams . All in all ...... coming along really well mate .

Re: T2 - Aerial Hunter Killer Machine Ive managed to get everything done except the Laquer ( awaiting a Lamborghini to dry which I used the same chrome paint with .... test piece ) here's the lastest pics ... So with a little luck she'll be finished tomorrow after a quick Laquer...

Re: T2 - Aerial Hunter Killer Machine I have a pic of the base painted up for now just to show you , tryin to fix my Laptop so I can post more pics I used an empty DVD spindel to hold the battery space that I needed then adapted the top to hold my base then also mounted the on/off switch on...

Looking great there , I too wanted a high chrome type finish for the Hunter Killer , I ended up using Vallejo 790 Silver straight from the bottle to the Airbrush and it worked a treat it probably will need a lacquer finish to lock the paint .. I like the link to Marvin the Martian ..... gave me...
