bit more work on my Stug. the vuild itself is ok but am not happy with the stowage (in particular the cloth/tarp... the colours are just a bit too solid... so need to work on that

tracks on (just - some areas that are better not looked at too closely)... need to finish off the hatches, binoculars and stowage and touch up some of the weathering I think.....

not usre if i am going about this in the right way, thought I would get some "mud" pigment on the lower half then get the wheels & tracks on (just placed for now as i need to rub the contact points of the wheels/tracks to remove the brown colour... graphite?) but slowly it gets some weather....

Hope that's a compliment.... lol... next up more rusting then I am going to try my hand at heavy mud... trying to get a sense of a vehicle in a thaw.. so winter camp battered, lots of mud....

some fading done using True Earth filters.. then tried to remove some areas via HS method... first thing - TE filters dont like the water when you do HS... so know now do TE after HS technique (and yes Velljo really doesnt like to come off... ) still not sure if I will do white - i think so as...

grey on - Vallejo "German Grey" going to do a little scuffing on this (did HS the primer) but not too much, also going to do some fading with TE filters via AB - if i dont like it I can always go the white wash route, if I do I can leave it "boring grey"....

primer is on... Vallejo red primer for hull & wheels, black for tracks and grey for sundries.... just the hull & wheels in photos tho

second fender on - this one has been removed to the first support with some damage showing. first radio antenna housing on - not 100% sure it is quite in the right place. Also added spare wheel bracket on the fender. Used images to get an idea, think it looks "passable"

ok, so today I finished the wheel welds. Dont think they look "too" out of scale... and tried the tubing. Its not perfect but, once the 2 halves of wheel are together I think it gives a good impression - at least it is something to work on for the remaining 16 wheels!!!!!
