Have social media sites changed the way you use modelling forums?

I don't use any social media at all. I must be a different youngster nowadays! ;D I think these forums are the best place to meet friends and see what other people have completed.

I wouldn't stress too much about those aluminum parts. I think it's not a big mistake if you leave them like that. I've never tried replicating old aluminum parts, though, and I've heard that it's not easy either. As I said, it's not a big thing if you just leave them like that. ;)

Thanks Guys, I appreciate the comments! Wagons are my favorites, too. Especially in Model Building. :)

    Ned's Towing

Nice work with this one, especially when thinking how much that kit lacks detail. You did a great job with the weathering, it looks very realistic to me. Keep these coming. ;)

    '61 Oldsmobile F-85 Wagon.

Another old Jo-Han kit. I thought about building this one with only some modifications to make it look a bit better. But when I saw the kit's interior tub, I knew that something needed to be done. After some thinking, I ended up scratchbuilding new door panels from sheet styrene. I was going to...

    Z 28 Junk Yard Dog

Great job with the weathering! Especially the body is looking very good to me. I bet I couldn't done it any better. It looks like a true JunkYard Car, and I like to see them as models. Only thing I have to point out... The alternator and valve covers are aluminium so they won't rust. But...

    '71 Plymouth Barracuda Pro Stock

Thanks Everyone! I appreciate the kind words :) . Actually this build was a Glue Bomb restore so it wasn't that big sacrilege, but you're right, these kits are starting to be hard to find! I enjoy building older kits myself, even if they many times are a bit more simple than new kits. They...

    '71 Plymouth Barracuda Pro Stock

Hey! I've been away for a while, but I've managed to complete a bunch of builds anyway. This was finished on November 2013. It is Jo-Han's Sox & Martin kit, which I decided to build as a Pro Stocker that could run in Nostalgia Events nowadays. First I took the whole thing apart and stripped the...

    Shelby Cobra 427 (Street Version)

    Custom Culture Show, Helsinki, Finland.

We had a Custom Culture Show here in Finland last weekend. It was really nice event with nice Hot Rods and Customs, Pinstripers, Bikes, Metal fabricators and of course Bands. There was a Model Car Show/Contest, too with lots of nice builds. I was putting it together with few others and...

    Shelby Cobra 427 (Street Version)

I built this in 2011. It started from Monogram Shelby Cobra kit. Otherwise the kit is pretty close to the Revell's Racing Version, but there are different tires and nice wheels and of course - Uptop. Engine is bit different too and I have to say I like this version better. I had to build mine...

    Red '57 Chevy Bel Air

Thanks guys! The paint job turned out very nice, too. Those Enamel colors work really well through Airbrush, except the clear coat which has caused me problems...That's why I didn't clear this one. Thanx again. ;)

Tamiya Morris Mini Cooper 1275S Rally Car

That turned out Fantastic! I like the weathering on it, not too much mud, but just enough. Over all really nicely detailed Mini, too. Congratulations on very fine looking build.

    Red '57 Chevy Bel Air

Hello folks, this is my first finished build I post on this forum. A '57 Chevy built from Monogram kit. It's finished in 2011, I could do better now. Anyway I still like it. First I planned to build it Box Stock with no modifications, but as usual, I had to do some detailing for the engine and...
