    Well I tried using some white spirits (mineral spirits in the states) but it didn't work. I was gonna call it a night when I decided to try some 99% isopropyl. I lightly brushes some on and voila! ;D the chalky look went away. Be careful tho. I learned that one should use less brush strokes...
