I have just started this 1/10th scale figure from Young Miniatures. It is really a beautiful sculpt! Painted as always with Vallejo and Andrea acrylics. More photos as this one progresses.

Just picked up this great Model Cellar kit to paint for a buddy of mine who builds the awesome Wing Nuts WW1 Aircraft. I started it this morning and finished it in 4 hours - really fun to paint! All Vallejo and Andrea acrylics as usual...

This WW1 German Machine Gunner is from Jeff Shiu and requires a bit more work than the Jon Smith kits. I replaced the helmet, gas mask can, and the canteen with JSM parts which I prefer. Also removed the seams on the back of the boots and scribed new side seams which is correct for this period...
This figure will be placed in a trench diorama with the already finished German NCO. One more to go and the work on the trench begins...

This is the old 1/16th scale Tamiya kit that has been updated with the Aber photo etch sets, lots of scratch-built additions and details. Weathering from AK, MIG and Vallejo products. Almost completed after a year of work!
