Keep in mind that capital ships ,like battleships were very well cared for I would keep the rust to a minimum, around scuppers and Hawse pipes, maybe a touch on the anchor. These ships were a point of national pride and were maintained to the highest degree possible as the pride of the fleet

Shouldn't be too hard to scratch build, bear in mind that the toilet may look different than a modern american toilet.

Nice hound I like e colors and the weathering. I would consider using something besides the pine bases, I have had resin from the pine leech out and cause problems. Try MDF it's stable and cheap, just cut to size with any woodworking tools.

Haze Grey is a color that is pretty specific to surface ships- it can vary from a blue tint to a pink tint. I would recommend using a specific resource and go with that . I am a former (10) year boatswain 2nd class and am currently a yard bird at the finest shipyard in the world.
