I don't know if you have a similar thing in your country or location but pound/dollar stores sell make up tools and stuff that can be cheaper and just as effective as modelling ones.

    Grendels lighting Tutorials

No rush at all, honestly. Thank you for taking the time. I think my major query is can I damage the chip by using too low or high resistors or capacitors? Or is it pretty much bomb proof what I stick on it? And is it just the one side that I can stick LEDS on? Thanks again.

    Grendels lighting Tutorials

I have made blinky lights! Just had to tell someone! I know it's the easiest circuit in the world, one 4060 and one resistor and capacitor but I don't care, I made it. Thanks Grendel for your channel and your helpful thread here. It's inspired me to light a Revell Klingon D7.

Hobby shops Tokyo & Hong Kong

There's a small, but massively stocked, model shop on the Nathan Road in HK. I can't remember the name, but it's sort of off the back and down a side street. Sort of a proper model shop. In as much as I spend ages picking stuff up and deciding what to buy! I think I kept the plastic bag...

    At this moment

I'm working on a 1/48 Revell F117 which I've used for the first time ever to play with lighting (thanks to watching all of Grendels youtube videos). I've painted it white and sanded it to make it curvier, it's supposed to have been a what-if for another forum.

    Your best quick tip/technique/diy

I've heard something similar but that the first coat over a mask should be the same colour as you've masked over, so that any bleed through isn't noticed. If that makes sense? Like the idea of using Klear though to seal it down.

    Great Source for Wire

With a steady hand and a sharp blade and patience you can get a fair bit from an old EIDE cable too.

Worth a try I guess, but I thought it was massively pre-ordered? Can't hurt though!

OOB Review: 1/350TOS Enterprise and All Accessories!

Thanks for the videos. Though as they're not selling any to the UK it's a bit like getting a paper cut and then having lemon juice rubbed on it watching them! I can't see ever getting one. :-[
