Give the MM paint a try chris, it works really well, I like the vallajo model air but it is alittle soft. The mm paint is alot harder. and with the shortage of tamiya it works relly well. Later Tom

Really, the kit went together fairly well. but i did use alittle mr surfacer on parts of the fuse seam. Tom

Chris, the nmf is done with model master acrylic silver, but i always put a vallajo urathane grey primer to give the silver something to bite to. Later Tom

The mustang is looking great, and welcome by the way!. As far as your inst panel gos one suggestion is to paint it flat black, then put a litelite gray wash on it that will pull out the detail on the dials, and finnally, dry brush the panel with some silver. I think you will like the results...

Well guys, Heres the finished up A-6E Intruder, Loaded, its hard to see in the pics but i done a light wash on the white with Promodler wash and a q tip. I think it came out pretty good, Im proud of it and hope yall enjot it. On to my C-47 used on D-Day. Later Tom

Thanks guys, i know it looks like i just flew through this, but im disabled and have alot of time to wk on my models. Some days i work on models 8 hrs a day. I love it. Keeps me from going crazy! Later got some weathering and detailing to do. Tom

I got some more progress on the intruder, got the bottom, and then the top color, which turned out way to dark for me, But ill have to live with the color as i allready unmask the plane, and the more i looked at it, the madder i got but i refuse to mash that sucker again :-X. Ill put some more...

Finnally got back to doing more work on the Prowler. Ive got the primer on and will be putting the base on shortly. Notice the bomb racks, loads of ordnance. Love it. More to come later.

Yes Phils washes are great. I first learned detailing right here on SMA, then i joined phils website, the techniques, you will learn are awsome!! when i get all the seams smooth i will be posting more pics, until then. Happy Modeling. Later Tom

This kit has a few fit issues, but nothing to cry about. But 1 thing i do like it has very good detail in the pit, wheel wells ect. Heres the new friend i just met. Im fixen to do alittle sanding and some dry fitting of the wings and horz. stabs and some clean up before carrying on. More pic...
