Yeah, the prices just keep getting up there but add in insane shipping at times and it's even worse. A while back I was going to order a couple kits from OldModelKits. Total was $102 for the kits and $105 for shipping. I fail to see any justification for that insanity.

Probably want to hide behind a safety shield just in case....lol

Got the seams on the engine nacelles smoothed out, painted the inside of those and the wings olive drab, glued on the nacelles and assembled the tail. Going much quicker now. I did break the nose wheel off but I'll fix that later.

Fantastic work! That is going to be one cool model.

Got the fuselage halves together. Not too bad on the seams, a little gapping at the nose but most of it fit nicely. Shadows in the pictures make the seam look much worse than it is.

Such a beautiful end result.

That's where I'm at with the Mistel, Gary. It's 1/48 scale so it will be a monster. But my old eyes sure like big kits...lol

I'll be doing the Mistel if it ever gets here. It was in service but it's an odd duck.

Finally had some time to work on this tonight. Wings and tail went together nicely. Engine nacelles have a small seam but not a big deal.

Calling it a night after assembling most of the bomb bay. Once I mount the bomb racks I get to join the fuselage halves.

My progress so far. For such old molds there is a surprising amount of detail. No major fit issues so far, either.
