    Plastic Putty

I have some vallejo colors and I never noticed a rubbery/vinyl feel to them, but I use so little of vallejo I just don't pay attention. I have a lot of army painter and craft paint that I use. Just recently got about 20 bottles of Tamiya so I could try them--so far I do like them. Back on...

    U.S. Destroyer DD445 Fletcher

Right now the closest I have to a relative in the navy is a very good friend. We've been hanging out so long we consider ourselves brothers. Right now he is serving on board a sub, an LA class but I can't recall the name. Both my grandfathers served in WW2 one in Europe and the other served in...

That's nice. I never had anyone in my family serve in the navy. Marine and army for me.

    U.S. Destroyer DD445 Fletcher

Started a new build. I decided to go with another naval ship, this time from Tamiya. The hull is basically one piece with the deck seperate. I do believe those parts are the radar tower. I can't remember for sure

    Your Modeling Routine

Nice build area. One of these days I'll have to post a pic of my build area. I normally have a pipe and a movie or tv show going and my drink of choice is Darjeeling tea.

I got the model finished. I also found an interesting story while I was researching the USS Wisconsin. I don't know if the whole thing is true but I like the story. Temper, Temper On March 15, 1952, while operating off the coast of Korea, the USS Wisconsin received its first and only...
