    Decals

I've built some when I was a kid and a little more as an adult now I'm retired and joined this group here. I am enjoying the heck out of your guys's pictures and how you build so small and intricate. So my question is do you guys cut around the decal so it's just the word or color? Should I have...

Decided to do a sailing ship

A guy that goes by Harry Houdini has lots of Youtube videos as well as tools for helping with rigging on sailing ships. I highly recommend checking out some of his rigging videos and see if they might help you. Here's the link to his website: https://houdinimodels.com

    Masters of the Air

To be honest, haven't B17 films been done to death? How about a Band of Brothers style series about B-24s. For me, they were the work force of USAF. Faster than B17, longer range, and more bomb capacity. Less guns. More B24s produced. More lost. B24 crews were the true Masters of the Air.

I plan to use the DC 3 as a flying detail over the new layout currently in the works. It is strange both are 1/48 but the plane looks huge. But another but, the paratroopers fit the door height of the caboose, go figure! Should be interesting....

    A friend gave me 2 1/48 DC 3 kits

I'm much the same. Back and knees are knackered. Never gave it a thought lifting and lugging huge fire doors about when I was young and stupid, the result being a multitude of micro fractures in the vertebrate. I really miss the smell of just milled pine. Pantherman
