    Pre-shading

Not really. It’s up to the individual. I’ll black base on some aircraft kits, then move on to some mottling work prior to camo work.

    DIY stuff from leftovers?

Auto spares are a gold mine. I once had a big ol’ tin - 12” Dia. x 4 or 5 inches high. Ended up tossing them when I moved in my home. Didn’t think I was gonna return to this hobby then. Now I wished I hadn’t. I had everything - engine blocks, valve covers, manifolds, carburetors, air cleaners...

    DIY stuff from leftovers?

I save all spare parts regardless of subject be it by land, air, and sea. You’d be surprised what you might need down the road.

You sure about that? Want proof? Take a look at these photos. They are not “spotless” as your so call LHS owner claims they are. Again, they are exposed to all kinds of elements on the high seas. I stand corrected that Navy aircrafts are dirty. Even USMC F/A-18 Hornets are dirty. The only...

Wanted MPC (or any brand) 1968 Pontiac Bonneville kit

Nope, not a typo or error. Oldcarmodels is a legitimate site and description is accurate. Look in eBay. You might get lucky winning a bid.

    F-35B

Nice subject. Be aware it’s going to be smaller than 1/48 scale. 1/35 scale is the common standard scale for a majority of armor kits.

    F-35B

Too shiny and clean. You’ll need to throw on some flat clearcoat with a bit of weathering. Well yeah, there’s a difference in size between 1/32 and 1/48 scale. I prefer building 1/48 scale aircrafts over 1/32 and 1/72 scale aircrafts. But fragile? Not really unless you’re dealing with tinier...

    F-35

It is well known within the model world that the Tamiya Tomcat is THE best kit out there. I agree with one comment, the F-14 Tomcat really needs to be weathered the hell out of it. There’s no such thing as a clean Navy aircraft especially when they’re exposed to all kinds of elements of being...

Wanted MPC (or any brand) 1968 Pontiac Bonneville kit

Yeah… good luck finding one cheap. As above poster listed the link, that’s as cheap as you’re gonna find them. Jump on it while you can and/or can afford it. They are a very rare vintage kit and extremely hard to find.
