Night shift got me back in the hobby. Boyles hobby time is good too. I watched some of him last night.

I had the strangest experience. These model kits just leaped into my cart screaming build me! Has anyone else had experiences like that?

Sounds like a good idea. I would do that except I don't remember my earlier models and I no longer have them. I either gave them away or they got trashed due to damage from one of my many moves.

Pantherman, meant to ask earlier, did your model have the large open areas mine did and how did you fill them (if you did)?

Ok, I was test fitting the track this morning and I realized I can't use the metal track I bought. I have to use the rubber track that came with the kit :confused:. The metal track is too narrow, by about a millimeter or two. I just can't get it to fit properly. Oh well I can use that on...

the sand looks to smooth compared to the water I think. How about a small crater or 2? A sand fountain might tie it together with the water, but I don't know how difficult that would be. Even a crater on the beach might look good tying it all together

Thanks. They may call it red-brown but it looks dark pink in the photos to me. Maybe I should get me some of that, it would be more authentic. I normally use black or mahogany primers for my models and the majority have been german armor.

I love the detailing in the cockpit

Got some more done on mine. Finished the painting, decals, and started the weathering. Don't know what it is with my camera. It was in focus when I snapped it but uploading its blurry.

Very nice. What primer did you use? I've never seen it that color before.
