Airbrush, paint brush, rattle can. Its whatever you like for your build.

@GaryG64 I was just curious as to whether @Pantherman was painting by brush so far on his build. I myself will probably airbrush everything that I can...LOL

I'm going to need to build a firewall so I bought a new tool to get the left and right contours. I'll trace those to a piece of sheet plastic and cut it out to fit. Needed a hole for the transmission to fit through too.

Haven't got much done this week it seems although I have done a fair bit of detail painting so it took longer than I was expecting. Anyway main chassis is done and most of the main cab, just working on the seat, dash and rollcage. Pantherman

I am still working on the driver.

I have the seat in. I was going to panel line the seams but then I remembered that the driver is going to be there so it won't be seen.

Firewall made, that took some effort. And the driver dude has only half arms and legs. If I decide to use him I might sculpt the missing parts from Milliput.

I'll probably attack the bodywork next.

Great job on the firewall. It can't be easy working with such an old Monogram kit, but you're doing a heck of a job with it. Well, that figure is something else, brought back good memories of building those kind of kits as a young kid. On the flip side of that, I can't help but be amazed at how far models have come through the decades.

I like your driver colors. I tried a little iridescent paint on my helmet.
It didn't work that great.
