KH is getting a bad rap...at least partially.

Fit and detail. Fantastic. I was floored at how well the intakes fit. I DETEST intakes and these were great. The exhausts were very nice, BUT the only have the straight back option, no droop option. Thats the only reason I got the resin ones.

Instructions. Almost could use them as toilet paper. They are horrid. You HAVE to read them over several times to make sure you have it figured out. Even then, they leave out part numbers. Dont make it clear which way the part goes on. Things like that. Also, for the weapons they failed to tell you which pylons go with which missiles/bombs. Nor the proper configuration with the attachment points. I figured out more looking at pics on lne than from the instructions.

Decals. Quality and toughness and behavior. Excellent. They stood up to solva set well, but they sucked right down into the details. Accuracy, not so much. They only had one set of Russian stars and they did NOT go with every Russian scheme. They had markings go on the one I did that were not on that particular 902 plane. So it is inaccurate. I wasnt worried about it too much, but I sincerely hope they did a better job on other kits where I WILL be concerned.

Oh, in the end, I would NOT recommend this if you dont have experience. A novice builder is gonna get lost in the directions and very frustrated. Definitely an advanced builder kit, though it really doesnt have to be IF they would have made some effort on the instruction and decal front

Hmm - I was considering purchasing their Su-34 in 1/48th since the Hobby Beast example has it's issues too .
Might just get it to check it out if the quality is there in the plastic .
I think the cockpit might be better than the HB kit . maybe

Dont get me wrong. I will continue to buy and build their kits. The quality of the plastic itself is great. Maybe not quite Tamiya level, but close.
