Thanks everyone.
I finished this up last weekend but just got around to taking the pictures.
I decided not to weather it, I like the way it looks as it is. My story is that Fred just cleaned it up to go out on the town or to a car show.
It was a fun build and just what I...
Re: Flintmobile - 1/20 Lindberg
I did the stone by first priming in flat black, then I used small pieces of soft foam and tapped on different colors of grey and tan. I then added some spots of highly thinned red-brown and blue. All of the colors are Vallejo.
Re: Flintmobile - 1/20 Lindberg
I got quite a bit accomplished (for me anyway) since the last post.
I got main pieces glued together.
You have to love the seams on this kit. It’s not too much of a surprise considering this is a snap kit.
Here’s an example of the seat before and after...
Does anyone have a spare 1/48 FW 190A propeller laying around that they would be willing to sell? I am in need of a paddle blade prop like this.
This is from the Eduard 1/48 FW 190A-5 or A-8 and is part number I20 and it is a spare. It doesn't have to be Eduard, but I do need it to look...
Re: Flintmobile - 1/20 Lindberg
Thanks for the kind words everyone.
I am making progress on this, just haven't had a chance to download the pictures to the computer and post an update. I have the main pieces all glued together and puttied up, just need to finish cleaning up the seams and...

This is a build I have been wanting to do for a couple of years now. I saw one at a local contest and have wanted to build one for myself ever since. I finally found a kit and it had already been assembled, but...
This is my Revell Snap TIE Fighter. I was inspired by Grendels videos of his quick and simple build of the kit and decided I wanted to do something similar.
The used 91% isopropyl alcohol to strip the paint off the kit (except for the interior) and assembled it out of the box. I did use glue...
I agree with Els, I also was able to see it in person Saturday and it is just incredible. Pictures do not show all the details and how well it all works together. Unbelievable build.
This is my first build posted to this site, please be kind.
I decided to take the plunge and build a large scale tank. I picked up the DML kit a little over a month ago and I am just getting going on it. I guess I was one of the lucky few as my kit was complete with all the track links and end...
Here's a tip for those that have a Tamiya Handy Drill. This is an extremely useful tool for drilling holes in plastic. It turns nice and slow and doesn't melt the plastic as you drill the hole.
I don't like using collets for drill bits as they never seem to fit the drill bit properly. I got...
