The type of person I am: I saw the support sprues in the body and thought you should keep those and make the car an apocalyptic racecar...like you're racing other survivors in a deathrace, winner receives food rations. :D
I've got a gas mask and pack on the passenger seat. I'm using the chrome sprue as a template for the angles. I'm not sure whether I want to use the aluminum tubes or sprues yet.
This guy is still packed up from the move. I'm kinda scared to unpack it and see what damage has been done. When I bring her back out, I'll get better pics. There's a ridiculous amount of detail that you can't see in these pics.
I'll have to get a better pic of the engine. The bumper setup protects the radiator. I was a technician for Infiniti and Nissan... I know better when it comes to mechanical accuracy. 😜
I just started digging through the sprues... I take back what I said about less flashing. The styrene is much better quality than some, but this model has alot more flashing than normal.
The bedside rails are sprues, and the front bumper was originally a single tube bumper that I added sprues to make it more structurally badass. I keep all my sprues just for things like this.
