    MA101's 1/48th RAN Sea Fury!

Yeah guys, sorry, I've been occupied with some other builds. I haven't done much but have a look through the parts :-\ I won't be around for a few weeks, but when I return, I'm sure I'll get stuck in :)

    MA101's 1/48th RAN Sea Fury!

Trumpeter.. My airbrush has carcked it due to my irresponsible use. So some cheap one will have to suffice until I win this thing (fat chance) I'm juniors (14) by the way.. If I do another Entry, I'll make a decision of which to put in juniors and which in the main contest..

    MA101's 1/48th RAN Sea Fury!

Hey all, pictures soon, but this is the thread for my RAN Sea Fury. It's going to be using an Aussie Decals sheet in the EDSG over Sky scheme... I might invest in the Aires Cockpit/Wheelbay and Eduard Big Ed sets if anyone wants to sell them to me..

    2012 BSC - Questions

Being legible for the Juniors cat, would it be a possibility for me to enter the same model in both the Juniors and Aircraft, Armour etc. categories?

    Question for 2012 contest

You pay the $5 to support the site. And anyway, even if you lose, you will have had quite an experience building and learning, so I think that it's all ok.

    I hate e-bay because...

I just picked up two instrument panel gauges for my P-40E panel project first off was a Manning Manifold Pressure gauge second was a Sperry Directional Gyro from an operational B-17 They were both auctions, and I nearly lost the Gyro, but at $30, it was a steal (the others were very dear...

say goodby too one of my videos.

Mate, It's ok. Even if it were badly built (which it most definitely wasn't), all you can do is take it in your stride and keep improving. The skills that have developed for all of us since we joined up are amazing, and I know for a fact anonymous youtubers do that because they are sad. So feel...

    Question for 2012 contest

I agree, forget what I said before ::) I loved last year's competition and I was absolutely blown out of the water by the competition. But in the process, I used my first resin and PE aftermarket accessories, did my first airbrush camouflage, and learned alot about the F/A-18 Classic, and also...

    Question for 2012 contest

They should be able to get their placings, because they have earnt it (unless it is open, then you cannot resubmit from last years comp), but they should only get one prize, the prize then going to the next down the line and so-forth. So retaining Q's idea of the prize shifting, but the builder...

    Beginner airbrush

I am young as well, and have found the Badger 175 quite easy to use, it is a dual action side feed brush and will set you back $75-$100 for the brush. As for compressors, I use a Bosch one, but that was $175 and is quite bulky. Check eBay for some smaller cheaper ones suitable for beginners.
