Re: 1/72 Red 5 X-Wing More masking, more painting. Tonight I also used u.n. White oil to soften/fade the yellows and the canopy grey a bit. I'll see what it looks like tomorrow and decide if I want to do more fading (I think I do) before moving to weathering/panel painting.

Re: 1/72 Red 5 X-Wing That photo is actually VERY helpful, spj. I paused ANH at a couple of points to get a good look and think I'll move the whole deal out towards the wing tips just a bit based on what I saw. There is a raised panel that it looks like the paint butts up against. Thanks!
