Sorry I may have misunderstood you, you mean the tubey bits? Thats just paint - I attached the line to the ring made of fuse wire and painted it with thick enamel to give the impression - I figure in small scales that's easier. When I do another 1/32 I may use the tubes then.

Thanks very much guys! I wound some 5 amp fuse wire round a 0.5mm drill bit to make the turnbuckles and super glued them into holes I drilled into the model.

Hi chaps, just finished these - Eduard 1/48 Spad XIII Eduard 1/48 Nieuport Ni-17 Eduard 1/72 Albatros D.V dual combo Unfortunately I didn't get around to using all the PE cos somehow the fret ended up on the floor and got mangled by my chair before I knew what was going on...

Here's something I've been working on of late - As you can see I've just about finished her - just got to do some touch ups etc...BTW the plane at the back is Academy's 1/32 Sopwith Camel that I've been working on at the same time, more on that later. :)
