This kit goes together beautifully, a real mojo restorer. I love the simple scheme you chose, nice work!

Thanks for posting. I'm building a 251 as well and I have kinda stalled at painting stage. These pics will help get things going again :)

I found a nice looking PE detail up set and a resin shuttle bay, but no resin bridge :(

For what it's worth, my friend showed me his Dragon version of the same subject and it's far more detailed than this old Tamiya kit. Here's how mine's going so far. Still build/dry fit stages...

    Tamiya Tyrrell P34

Thanks Shayne, I've been moving house - it's been a gruelling experience. Hopefully I'll get my kit set up this weekend and have some more to show :) Did you build your Tamiya Tyrrell yet?

    Tamiya Tyrrell P34

Thanks for the tip, Rookie. I picked up some Vallejo paints over the weekend. I'm in the middle of moving house though so no chance to work on it this week :(

    Tamiya Tyrrell P34

Thanks for the tip Rookie. I'll try liquid paper next time... Ok, first off here's my reference picture... I'm pretty pleased with how the exhaust manifolds turned out. I used a Tamiya weathering kit and gave them a good rub with the Burnt Red to give them that oxidized look... I'm not so...
