With it's fastback roof mated to a mid-size car, instead of the usual compact, this a surprisingly beautiful car.
This new release from Revell, brings back the iconic ’67 Charger, with it’s fastback roof mated to a mid-size car, instead of the usual compact, made this a surprisingly beautiful car. Married to the stout 426 Hemi, the car had bucket loads of power to spare, more than enough to repeatily lay down twin lines of black rubber on your favorite street or dragstrip.
The kit consists of 133 parts, with 76 of those in white styrene, 37 Chrome part, 13 in clear styrene, 6 vinyl tires (4 regular tires, and 2 drag slicks), and 1 Clear Red Styrene. As well the 12 page instruction booklet, and the kit being a 2n1, means you can build it for stock…or for racing.
Here are photos of the sprues and instruction sheets. The gallery will open in a popup and you can click through to the next and read descriptions.

This new re-released kit from Revell adds a much needed Mopar kit to the car lineup. The kit parts themselves look great, a minimal of mold lines and sink marks to be dealt with. The subject is something that car modelers have been asking to have back for awhile, and it is finally here. This is part of the “Revell Muscle” series, which are generally all 2n1 kits, which give you options to trick out your car a couple of different ways, this one coming with extra parts to build the car in either it’s stock or racing configuration, including an extra set of nicely done Crager 5 spoke wheels, as well as all the parts to make a dragstrip burning muscle car from. My one complaint may be the cheesy styrene heater hoses included with the kit, do yourself a favor and use a couple of rubber tubes, or coated wire to replicate those. The kit will build into a fine example of the Charger, and while I am not sure on the accuracy of what comes in the box, it looks the part to me.

This should be a pretty straight forward build for novices and experianced builders alike, and also leaves room for those that like to “tweak” their kit to something other than box stock!
This is a great addition to the Revell lineup, and your own personal stash!

This kit retails for $22.75CDN and can be ordered from Elm City Hobbies
I would give it 3.9 out of 5 Sprues!
