Starting a barn diorama. This is a plaster kit and will be a complete structure. I have run into a problem already. One wall is 1/2 inch shorter than the rest. This diorama will include a tractor, cart, farm tools and a well. Most likely I will have some German soldiers resting in the area but that might change. I have contacted the company and requested a new wall. IMG_0757.jpegIMG_0758.jpegIMG_0759.jpegIMG_0760.jpeg

Correct wall is on its way…started on landscape layout. There will be a narrow road. Along the barn side of the road will be a rail style fence.

Adding wall support posts and building loft

Sorry for the glare but it's from the stainless table top. The fence will not be that high as the posts will be inserted into the foam. I need to go to the home improvement store to pick up another piece of foam which will be the base.

Didn't like the interior so I changed it. I also made a ladder to gain access to the loft from the outside.

Change again…added loft ladders inside and out.

So after further deliberation I decided the posts and joists were too big. I tore it all apart and started rebuild.

Question…should I leave one wall off to show the interior? It doesn't make sense to me to detail the interior and then close it up. The other way would be to have a removable wall.
