(Blackburn) Hawker Siddeley Buccaneer
« on: Thu Feb, 02, 2012, 12:30:PM »
I am building this kit as a surprise for my grandpa. Who worked for De Havilland then Hawker Siddeley as it became. He worked on the  Blue Streak missile's  abort system and borrowed a the plans of a certain mostly wooden  WWII  plane. But the real reason I'm  building  to for  him has to say  thank you for  answering my  questions  about plains in general and being such an inspiration to me. I will stop boring you all now lol

Can anyone tell me what colour the  cockpit interior was ? Because  the  directions say black but  I've seen photos with like a blue Gray or a sort of green Gray just asking so I know far enough in advance

I think you'll be safe with black if you want to use it ,they were Black ,they were however also ...interior green or Light gray ,so I guess ..take your pick of the three ,I dont think you'll be wrong  ;)

It is the 1:72 airfix kit  the only real niggle I have with the its the weapon pylons be cause there engraved panel lines when the rest are raised.

i have the gulf war release version and i did notice that as well.  the new tool parts are recessed.  i need to become better at scribing panel lines before i tackle mine as i want to rescribe everything.
