Nice camo work Ken! Can't wait to see how dirty and banged up this thing gets.
Modelflex paint = pretty darn good. I'll have to pick up some of that extender, I've had that same premature drying problem you mentioned, and I might have to add some of that varnish to the shopping cart too. I have the same issue with Vallejo matte and satin varnish, clumps up and discolors the paintwork at times. I keep going back to Model Master Acryl Flat.

A nice run down on th ModelFlex & th different AB's & there suggested uses. I never thought of using different brushes for different stuff, aside from using a AB with a fine needle for detail work.
Incidentally .... I've shot th Vallejo Satin through My Thayer/Chandler Omni 4000 will a touch of sputter ( 25psi), but it actually shoots through My Aztek ( 32psi) w/ th medium needle great with no thinning in either brush.

I just realized I forgot to paint that shoulder part before I stalled the side windows
oh well, it will be a tricky fix, might have to pop the windows back out, really dont want to try to hide it with weathering.

Came out very nice, Ken! I like the stripe, too, it's nice detail, like a tactical marking of some kind. And I like how your pilot turned out. Yes, very well done!
