Hey fellow modelers,
I've decided to stop just visiting this great wegsite and being an unregistered lurker
and join the SMA family.
What I find truely refreshing is "Let's have fun and build models" philosophy prevelant here.
Too many other modeling sites take this hobby way too seriously.
Beware the fanatical bolt counters out there in the modeling scene that can brow
beat a person's efforts into them never building a model again.
With that said I love to build models and look forward to joining in with you all in
this great pastime.

Thanks for the warm greetings and felicitations.
Having visited this website over the past several months, seen the quality of models,
the candor of the bantor, and the open willingness to aid each other's efforts has compelled
me, an admitted techno-phobe, to join in.
Thank you, Scott, for creating a truely refreshing place for us modelers.
