Thanks for this. The big scale Huey looks like something I will have to look into in the near future.

Interesting mix of new and old, That Compuserve C-5R Corvette looks nice, any info on the reboxed 1/48 F/A-18C, wondering if its an updated tooling like they did with the Tomcats, would love to do a late lot Hornet OOB.

No idea yet whether the F/A-18C is upgraded from the original kit or not.

I built the Huey a long time ago, probably one of the first aircraft kits I every built, and probably have the carcus still sitting somewhere.

Out of those releases, the F-8 Crusader turns my crank....always wanted that kit, and is one of the best Revell/Monogram aircraft kit produced. The '77 GMC Tow Truck and the '40 Ford Pickup, only because they are trucks, and I love trucks. Other than that, the 2010 Shelby GT500 Mustang, and the '78 Firebird are about the only others that turn my crank. Lots of people complaining that there are actually no all new releases in that bunch. With the exception of the Shelby Mustang (which in itself is just an adaptation of the 2010 Mustang GT due out this month), everything else is a re-released kit from days gone by. Alot of the re-releases haven't been on the market for sometime however....so to me they are welcomed!

Is that Apollo Lunar Spacecraft really goinh to be in 1/48? (Last pic bottom left)

OOoooo that would be cool that big. But I think they just got the scale wrong.

And where is the Ventura in 1/48?!

That is the correct scale for the Apollo CSM/LM stack. Its a re-issue of an earlier kit. If I had it, Id be thorn between building it with the CSM and LM mated as they would be on the out bound leg of the journey to the Moon, or to get it and build each piece seperate. I believe the original issue had the parts to build the legs on the LM descent stage extended. I had the 1/48 Appolo 11 Diorama kit as a kid and built it up, came with a moon terrain base, 2 astronaut figures, various scientific equipment and of course the US Flag.

That's what I'm wondering. I had the seperate kits too years and years ago. There'd have to be new parts. The escape tower, the folded legs, the Saturn 5 stage parts...

There was kit of that in 1/72 or 1/100. that's why I think it's a typo on the scale. That would be a BIG NICE kit in 1/48.

Now that they're re-issuing the razorback P-47, I can take it off my primary searches on eBay (except where I can get it cheap ;)  )

Also expect to see the 1/32 HE-111 imported from Revell Germany. Great models importing them lit a fire under revell US arse to get the model out earlier than they had planned.

Not really...it had always been slated for a September release here in North America. Usually Revell Germany releases in North America are a month behind them in Europe.

Great Models just decided to foot the bill to import them directly from Revell Germany on their dime instead of waiting for Revell USA to bring them in.

Save your pennies....as it will be re-released in a Revell USA box, and likely for quite a bit cheaper

Yes.
I'm told that the US version will be released under the Pro Modeler label and it will be the exact same kit as the Revell Germany kit.
AS in the release of the B-17G, the Revell Germany kit is in a bigger box.  The Pro Modeler kit is the exact same kit with diferent decals and a smaller box (and about $20.00-$25.00 cheaper depending on where you buy).

I don't see the PV-1 Bentura on that list. :'(
