ok went out and bought some tamiya paints so now that my camera is for the most part working i am gonna shoot the model again and try and get a better contrast,,,stay tuned........

ok I am a fan of tamiya paint now ;D this stuff went on great, nice and smooth and was really easy to work with, i thought about going back and touching this up but I think I will leave it, other than touching up the black leading wing edges. Happy modeler again

had a horrible cold this week, but it did give me time to slap some decals on

you will also notice i started adding decals to the props as well

all thats left is to touch up the boarding ramp, attach the props, seal it with future, i'm thinking a light wash, and a flat coat. oh yeah, I also dropped it and broke the long refueling probe, so i cut off the end and re-attached it to look retracted. I guess with it looking parked anyway it makes sense.

ok light washing with lamp black and burnt umber oil paints, some streaking done with some mineral spirits and q-tips, a flat coat:

flat coating the props now, may do some light dry brushing on the props havent decided, after that remove the mask, attach the props and admire!!! will be done this weekend
