Definitely plan on scanning them.
May not even use the kit decals and just go with "reprints" from the scans.
Just waiting on my decal paper to arrive

Sorry for the lack of progress on these. Had a bad case of not wanting to do much for the last few days.
I do have the decals ready.
Just haven't felt like working on the models

That's ok man, normally you're a modelling machine. I can empathize.

Thanks for understanding, JMac.
Doesn't help that I come home from work wanting to do nothing but lie down and take a nap

Maybe this weekend I can get going again.
Got too many things I want to try and work on, but I have to clear the bench first

I know I'm having a really hard time too. Everything seams stalled, with work and family commitments - I just don't have much time or energy.

After a LOT of delays, here is the latest update on the mecha build.
Decided to repaint the Phoenix Hawk in black for better contrast between the two models.

Went in and touched up the red on the Accipitor, then added Gunmetal to the thrusters and gun inserts

All right, time for the next update on the build.
Separated the various limbs in order to seal the touchup with some Future.

Got the decals on the Phoenix Hawk, and got her onto a balsa base.
She's attached with Aves Apoxie Sculpt.

After running into my old curling issue with the decals I'd made for the Accipitor, I went back to the kit-supplied decals.
Base is the same treatment as on the other mech.

I still need to seal these up, and will likely do some sort of simple landscaping work on the bases before calling things done.
I may also do up some unit insignia.

Thanks, guys.
Weather's not letting me get outside to seal them, and the emblems gave me some fits yesterday, but I could almost call these done, even as is.
