That's a great idea. I bet some of the premo teas are not quite as ground up and would make even better leaves. While we're talking about tea, I remember reading about using liquid tea and coffee to stain and weather items.

Great tip!  It looks like it could be used for shroud wrappings for long dead corpses too!  Tarp for tanks? That's actually a good idea.  I was trying to figure out how I'd do tarp on my Cromwell.

Cool Tip  8) could you use a metal strainer and get those leaves smaller to look more dirt like?

That's right, you can soak paper in tea or coffee, to stain it and make it look like parchment, or otherwise tint it in various shades of tan and brown.

It would also work with cotton thread, and with cheesecloth, used for camoflage netting.
