Strobe circuit w/ pot
« on: Sun Apr, 15, 2018, 08:14:AM »
Before I go out and purchase all the components to make one myself, does anybody know of a single chip that lights up only 1 white LED with a variable rate pot? Years ago I had seen one but have long forgotten the LED shop that sold it.

I know you can do it with both the 4060 and the 555, but I don't know if that is what you are looking for.

I'm going to make it with the 555 timer.

You can control both the blink rate and the space between blinks with a variable rate pot.

Actually found this:

You have to assemble it but it can be purchased with a white LED. Convenient.
