AAR Corvette
« on: Fri Mar, 09, 2018, 12:15:PM »
Last year, the folks over at modelcarsmag.com, voted my 2017 entry,... winner.

So I needed to find something for this years build....
Inline engine and the appearance of being road legal, the only stipulations to enter...
I had a couple of these Revell/Monogram Corvettes lying around giving up spare parts....

An ordinary, everyday inline 6, just wasn't enough so I added another 2 cylinders to it...

Then all hell broke loose when this gold guy showed up with trainable bots

I found some old circuit boards for the interior panels...

Lot's of work left to do,..that hood scoop for one thing ?!?
Cheers

I need to pick up a couple of those bots to help out with the farm equipment maintenance.

That's going to look pretty mean in the digital camo, though!

Red plastic Grrr...
Let's try silver,...

Then Duplicolor Sealer Primer

I'll let that dry up for a couple days, then hit it with the Wimbledon white,...again

Interesting that the plastic keeps bleeding through.
Never seen that on my builds
