Hasegawa 1/48 F-104G Starfighter 'Demonstrator'
$80.25
N104L, a TF-104G, was flown to three women's world speed records in 1964 with a maximum average speed of 1,429.3 miles per hour. Although these aircraft were combat capable, they carried neither the internal cannon nor centerline pylon of the production F-104 and had reduced internal fuel capacity—all factors that reduced weight and allowed them to fly even faster than their incredibly fast active-duty cousins. This limited edition kit features two sets of decals for demonstrator versions of the TF-104G.
Decal Options:
    Demonstrator Code: N104L
    Demonstrator Code: N90500

Hasegawa 1/700 JMSDF DDG Kirishima 'Hyper Detail'
$92.75
The second ship in the Kongo class of guided missile destroyers, the JDS Kirishima (DDG-174) was launched on August 19, 1993. Like all other destroyers in its class, the Kirishima is named after one of Japan's most famous mountains. In 2003, the vessel faced mass protests as it deployed to the Indian Ocean to provide logistics support for the War on Terror. In 2011, it helped in relief efforts after the Tohoku earthquake and tsunami. Kit features photo-etched parts set and detailed pieces.
Decal Option:
JMSDF DDG Kirishima Code: 174 2016

Hasegawa 1/700 Japanese Navy Destroyer Asashio
$32.25
Asashio, lead vessel of the Asashio class, was one of the exceptionally large, powerful destroyers laid down by the Japanese in the interwar period. It was equipped with six 12.7cm guns but, like with many Japanese warships, its chief armament was Japan's superior torpedo technology. Asashio fought at Midway, Guadalcanal, and other places before being sunk at the Battle of the Bismarck Sea. Kit features decals for Asashio as part of the 8th Destroyer Squadron in December, 1941.
Decal Option:
IJN 8th destroyer SQ. Dec., 1941

Hasegawa 1/72 Kugisho P1Y1 Ginga (Frances) Type 11
$55.50
Designed for low-level torpedo and night bomber attacks, the twin-engine, Yokosuka-built P1Y Ginga began flight trials in the summer of 1943. While initial versions were not deemed impressive by the Imperial Navy, the P1Y1-S, with its increased speed, Type 99 cannons and Type 2 machine guns, was highly regarded and extensively used until the end of WWII. Kit features full decals and highly detailed parts.

Hasegawa 1/72 Mitsubishi G3M2/G3M3 Type 96 Attack Bomber (Nell) Model 22/23 w/Torpedo
$61.75
The Mitsubishi G3M was introduced in 1935, as a result of a request from the Imperial Japanese Navy for a new heavy bomber. G3M2 models offered increased fuel capacity and more powerful engines, while G3M3s (built by Nakajima) were designed for long-range flight. This special reissue limited edition kit offers the choice of a G3M2 or a G3M3, bomb/torpedo parts.

Squadron Signal Books - 155mm Long Tom Gun in Action (SC)
$20.50
The 'Long Tom' or more properly, the '155mm gun M1A1 with M1A1 carriage and M5 limber', and the related 8-inch howitzer M1 formed the backbone of the U.S. Army's heavy field artillery during World War II and Korea. These towed artillery weapons initially used the Mack NO 7½-ton 6x6 as a prime mover, which was augmented by the M4 high-speed tractor during the later stages of the Second World War. With ranges of just over 14 miles for the gun, and 10½ miles for the howitzer, the duo served for many more years - with an associated change in the prime mover, to the M125 10-ton 6x6. This 80-page book documents the development and deployment of these iconic weapons, as well as their prime movers and caissons through 227 archival photos.

Pen & Sword - Tiger I and Tiger II (SC)
$24.75
Tanks of the German Army and Waffen-SS. In spite of the relatively small numbers produced, the Tiger I and Tiger II tanks are arguably the most famous armoured fighting vehicles of the Second World War.
This book, the first in the TankCraft series, uses archive photos and extensively researched colour illustrations to examine the tanks and units of the German Army and Waffen-SS heavy panzer battalions that attempted to hold back the Red Army during 1944. A large part of the book showcases available model kits and aftermarket products, complemented by a gallery of beautifully constructed and painted models in various scales.
Technical details as well as modifications introduced during production and in the field are also examined providing everything the modeller needs to recreate an accurate representation of the tanks that fought from the snow covered fields of Byelorussia and the Ukraine, through the Baltic States and into Poland and Hungary. A highly recommended source of inspiration and ideas for diorama and model builders looking to build a Tiger tank.

Dragon 1/35 IDF M3 Halftrack w/20mm Hispano-Suiza HS.404 cannon
$99.75
Dragon now has an impressive number of Israel Defense Forces (IDF) M3 halftracks in its line-up, with yet another interesting version joining the 1/35 scale family. The newest one features an M3 fitted with a Hispano-Suiza HS.404 20mm cannon. Indeed, it differs from the previously released M3 with TCM-20 antiaircraft gun. Rather, the newer kit has a single HS.404 mounted in the rear compartment so the weapon could be employed for direct-fire support. This 1/35 scale kit represents an Israeli M3 with the HS.404 20mm weapon precisely detailed. The pintle mount and base are brand new elements, as is an associated travel lock. The rest of the troop compartment, with seats and stowage bins, is accurately depicted. Furthermore, there is a generous selection of photo-etched parts to recreate the vehicle. As usual a series of backpacks and personal kit made from DS are supplied. This Israeli M3 halftrack kit offers considerable firepower and appeal!
Features
- 20mm HS.404 Cannon
- New Travel Lock
- New Pintle Mount
- Detailed fighting compartment
- Wheels and suspension w/full details
- Photo-Etched box and rack

Dragon 1/35 MIM-104C Patriot Surface-to-Air Missile (SAM) System (PAC-2)
$133.50
Dragon’s Black Label series has previously released 1/35 scale kits of the well-known American Patriot PAC-1 and PAC-3 air defense systems. Now, the family has been completed with the release of the Patriot PAC-2 as used by the US Army and a number of other militaries around the world. The MIM-104C missile introduced with the PAC-2 was designed specifically for the interception of ballistic missiles rather than as a purely surface-to-air missile system. The PAC-2 reached US Army units in 1990 in time for deployment in the first Gulf War, and they continue to be used by many militaries. Like Black Label’s preceding kits of the Patriot air defense system, this latest one is just as impressive as it features the M901 Launching Station based on an M860 semi-trailer. Brand new for this release is a newly tooled launcher generator set suitable for this particular Patriot version. Detail is sharply molded and all parts of the system are fully represented. Thanks to the Patriot PAC-2’s adoption by multiple countries, modelers also have a wide choice of finishes for this impressive plastic kit.

Dragon 1/72 StuG.III Ausf.A

The StuG Ausf.A was the first variant of the StuG.III family, with just 30 vehicles manufactured by Alkett from January-May 1940. The type mounted a short-barreled 7.5cm StuK 37 L/24 gun. Dragon has previously introduced high-quality 1/72 kits of the StuG.III Ausf.B, C/D and the Ausf.E, so this kit of the Ausf.A is a welcome addition to the infantry support/tank destroyer family. It allows modelers to build a stunning Ausf.A, This kit is superbly detailed, featuring a brand new upper hull and superstructure roof.

Roden 1/32 O2A Skymaster USAF Multi-Purpose Light Aircraft
$77.75
In the early 1960s, the Cessna aircraft company built a small commercial aircraft, the Model 337. Compared with similar aircraft of the same class, it had an unusual layout: a tractor engine in front, and a pusher in the rear. Instead of the classic fuselage layout, two booms extended backwards from the wing, which were connected by the horizontal tail assembly. The aircraft could carry two crew members, and four passengers or up to 450 kg of payload. It was quite successful commercially, but
Cessna also hoped to find an outlet in a military role. In 1967 a military version of the machine appeared, the O-2A Skymaster.
With the start of the Vietnam War, the US Air Force began to actively employ light aircraft as scouts, for fire direction or lightweight communications. One of the most widely used was the O-1 Bird Dog, but it was not always able to perform certain military tasks, such as controlling targeting for other planes. The O-2 was more suited to this type of task and, therefore, was soon involved in missions of this kind in the Vietnam conflict.
Also, the O-2 could be used as a light strike plane, like its predecessor the O-1. For this, pods of unguided rockets and other light weapons could be hung under the wing of the aircraft. Some machines, designated O-2B, carried out 'psychological warfare missions - they were fitted with speakerphones broadcasting calls to the population to stop the war, but this exercise was not successful.
Another important application for the O-2 was the rescue of pilots whose planes had been downed in an area of operations. The O-2 could take off from the shortest airstrips and land in the most unsuitable places for this purpose. Many US Air Force pilots had this machine to thank for their rescue.
Series production continued until 1970, during which time at least 532 aircraft were produced. The end of their active military career in the US Air Force coincided with the end of hostilities in Vietnam, but in the US they were used long afterwards by the Air Force for patrol or liaison tasks, and were eventually decommissioned due to age and obsolescence. Despite this, this aircraft is still very popular among private owners. And many former military machines are still operated under civil registration or take part in numerous vintage airshows.
