AK Interactive Paint Brushes
« on: Wed Dec, 06, 2017, 02:30:PM »
I am always on the lookout for decent paint brushes. Micromark has some called Dynasty Set No, 25 fine nylon.
Just found some other excellent ones, AK Interactive. Hard to get in the USA as they are made in Poland.
Got a few from Hobbylinc, but they don't have the full range. I just purchased the full range at Victory Models.
Painting application is excellent and even better, they clean in paint thinner really fast. I Use only Model Master Enamels. I do not like sable or natural brushes, synthetics just seem to work better for me. Victory Models has free shipping for orders over $20 too. I hand paint with brushes all my work as there is where I get the most enjoyment from painting. I built my first plastic model in 1961, a Japanese Zero. My uncle told me I used too much glue!
I lived close to the Aurora Plastic Scale Model company in West Hempstead, NY.  Would buy my kits at Great Eastern Mills in Elmont, NY. Too bad the Aurora models did not use standard scales back then.
