superglue + baking soda
« on: Wed Sep, 27, 2017, 12:40:PM »
recently saw a few youtube videos demonstrating using superglue and a powder to fill surface chips and voids on surfaces of guitar bodies.  You flow thin cyano into the void then sprinkle baking soda over the "puddle". It instantaneously hardens into a surface that can be shaped and sanded.  Thinking of trying this to fill some long, hairline gaps between halves of a cannon barrel.  Runnng a thin bead into the crack with the looper followed by baking soda.
Anyone tried this?

Would be great to see any pics of the process in action if you can?
