Hope  Polar Lights  comes out with a Nimitz-class carrier   ;        the island on the port side  , 3 screws and one big , fat rudder  , ..... anchors molded in amidships .
   certainly hope they include the decals for the  Dazzle-camo     --  just like I remember her    >:(

Seriously  -  what are those " half-dome " thingies doing there  ?
Those are a very deliberate , crisp detail -- not something to be removed ...
Surprised there aren't fins molded into the saucer or something too

...  actually  ,  they are there  - just maybe not as pronounced  ,,, can't really tell from that pic their scale

There's a ramp , starting @ the green arrows with a definitive step  ,, @ the blue line .
Hard to gauge it's profile with those lines atop it  ,  but the ones on the model look to be too tall for their width ;

Something is sitting proud there  -  it's not a continuous flat .
Any more pix ?

I just searched for studio model and found that pic, I am sure others can be found.

I would have probably left them too.

That looks to me more like damage to the filming model model, especially when you consider the lumps on the kit are different sizes and shapes from each other rather than being identical to one another. I think at this point you almost have to leave them, as trying to sand them of now would most likely be problematic at best.

...  all the pix I find that are close-up enough are from starboard  . Not that it matters at this point .

Those thingies ain't there like on the  Polar Lights  DISASTER  !

Seriously  -  WhyTH are they there  ???  ? ,,, and in 2 different sizes as you mentioned  ( ! )
Anyone build the  Polar Lights  Death Star ?  -  Is it a cube  ?.  .   .  or maybe a dodecahedron  ( with wings , maybe ) ?

- First time and last time for me with a  Polar-Plight  kit    >:(

I'll probably just remove the bumps ; might as well  .  The tools and technology exist FFS   .. .. . . . . ... .. . .same technology that could have prevented their appearance on the kit in the first place    ::)

I wasn't going to mention the additional issue I spotted with her during assembly  -  but just like the removal of those " pimples " , why stop now ?

The top of the neck had a twist in it  so it skewed to starboard / forward .
So the cumulative effect of the saucer shagging to starboard and the nacelle pylons twisting ever-so-slightly counter-clockwise as seen from above  --   creates a gap between the saucer-edge and the Bussard domes that differ by 1.4 mm .
Yeah  -  that's definitely  rivet-counter-chit  , but just another fancy bonus served up by the Polar-Plight Kitchen

That the pics are only the starboard side makes sense, sine the port side wasn't fully detailed. For budget reason, the model was designed to only be filmed from the starboard side, and  so the port nacelle is slightly shorter and not perfectly level, there are big holes in the port hull for wiring, and they replaced the registries with reversed ones  then flipped the film for any portside shots.

As far as the kit, I have no idea, i kinda have the suspicion they are mold screwups they didn't have the time to fix. If true, though then why not fix it during one of the rereleases? Pure speculation of course.

The neck twist must be your particular kit. Mine was fine, though the saucer was tilted like yours. I fixed that the same way you did.

They are a pain to sand/scrape off, but patching the hull was easy peasy. :)

They took less than 2 minutes to scrape off   , using a 2.4 mm chisel edge-on .
Just need to touch-up the primer after work today .

ANYTHING  ELSE      ???  ??      ::)

I'm still amazed at how many issues they were able to squeeze into such a simple , well known subject .    -- Fantastic !

Can't wait to build me some  Bandai   ;D
