Dragon 1/350 USS Kidd DDG993 Destroyer
$66.75
The U.S.S. Kidd (DDG-993) was commissioned on March 27th 1981. The four destroyers of the Kidd class were originally built for the Shah of Iran, and were acquired by the US Navy following the Shah's overthrow in 1979. The US Navy acquired them in 1981 and 1982 after they were canceled by the succeeding Iranian government. For this reason they are often referred to as the "Ayatollah class".
Built for action in the Persian Gulf, these ships are oriented for general purpose operations rather than specialized anti-submarine war. The most formidable warship of her size ever to patrol the world's oceans, blending the best features of the SPRUANCE Class destroyers with the combat system of the VIRGINIA Class nuclear cruisers to produce a ship with unique characteristics:
A ship so quiet, and an ASW system so capable, that she operates offensively against submarines.
The most sophisticated medium-range AAW systems in the Fleet, quick-reacting and highly accurate, with the capability for today's air defense environment and the growth potential for tomorrow's.
An exceptionally reliable and responsive engineering plant.
A deadly surface-to-surface weapons capability.
These characteristics make KIDD a triple-threat, one of the few truly multi-mission ships, able to operate offensively, to deal with simultaneous air, surface, and sub-surface attacks. After over 16 years of service with the U.S. Navy, this ship was decommissioned on March 12th 1988.

Dragon 1/35 German Tank Crew 1944-45 (5)
$18.50

Dragon 1/35 Rommel & Staff N.Africa 1942 (4)
$26.00
Erwin Rommel is one of the most famous and respected German military commanders of WWII. Born in 1891, he was dubbed the ‘Desert Fox’ for his exploits in North Africa, for this was the arena in which he reached legendary status. He led the Deutsches Afrikakorps with great professional skill from 1941 onwards when Italian forces were on the ropes. Despite having minimal forces, the German field marshal succeeded in besieging and capturing Tobruk, and advancing across North Africa all the way to Egypt. Some of the most important battles of this time were at El Alamein against his nemesis Bernard Montgomery. Finally, with ravaged supply lines and shortages of personnel and equipment, the Afrikakorps was forced to give up the fight in May 1943. Dragon’s newest 1/35 scale figure set features the famous Desert Fox along with three of his staff officers in full swing in 1942.
The four figures contained in the box are beautifully sculpted in plastic, and the one representing Rommel is an extremely good likeness. He is dressed in his characteristic leather greatcoat, and he’s shown in typical pose as he directs his forces with consummate skill. His three staff officers are based on photographic sources, so they too possess realistic poses. All wear uniform elements characteristic of the period and the desert theater. Although they don’t come with personal weapons, they do carry suitable items such as binoculars, and they wear their medal decorations and hats. The sharp sculpting of these figures takes injection molding to the outer limits of its possibilities. This 1/35 figure set of Rommel and his staff in action lends itself to a dramatic North African diorama scene.

Dragon 1/16 German Tank Ace Normandy 1944
$26.00

Dragon 1/35 Sd.Kfz.138/1 Geschutzwagen 38 H fur s.IG.33/1 Initial Production
$102.50
Germany created a wide number of self-propelled howitzers (SPH) during WWII, these typically being converted from existing tank chassis. The Sd.Kfz.138/1 Geschützwagen 38 H für s.IG.33/1 was one such SPH, this mounting a 150mm infantry gun on the chassis of the Czech-built Pz.Kpfw. 38(t). This vehicle was more commonly known as the Grille (German for ‘cricket’). The s.IG.33/1 gun was mounted in an open-topped superstructure that offered the five-man crew limited protection. The 11.5-ton Grille served in Russia, Tunisia, Italy and France.
This newest Grille kit comes with a generous selection of photo-etched parts to complement the high-quality plastic components. As a special addition to celebrate this release, Dragon is including a complementary figure set of self-propelled artillery crewmen to populate the vehicle. This fine new 1/35 scale kit, which sees the Grille available once again, will have fans chirping happily like crickets!

Dragon 1/35 Sd.Kfz.250/7 Atle 8cm Mortar Carrier w/ Full Interior
$99.75
There were a many great variants in Sd.Kfz.250 family. One was the Sd.Kfz.250/7 leichter Schützenpanzerwagen (schwerer Granatwerfer), which was a mortar carrier. In the rear compartment was an 8cm GrW34 mortar. The 5.61-tonne vehicle also contained 42 spare rounds for the mortar, while a machine gun could be mounted at the rear for self-defense. A crew of five operated the vehicle and its mounted mortar within the platoons of light armored reconnaissance companies.
Now Dragon has available an exciting 1/35 scale kit of the Sd.Kfz.250/7 alte 8cm Mortar Carrier. It is far more than the sum of its components that were previously available from Dragon – an Sd.Kfz.250 halftrack and an 8cm mortar – for it has a many great brand new parts. The one-piece upper hull (from the hood to the rear plate) is completely new, for example, in order to replicate the correct shape and details of this mortar variant. The vehicle interior has received a makeover too, including new mortar base, ammo boxes, seats, engine and full interiors to match the mortar version. There is ample ammunition storage as well. This is a new halftrack variant from Dragon, and it does look different from others that have gone before. For modelers seeking extra firepower and impact, this Sd.Kfz.250/7 is the ideal choice!

Dragon 1/35 Sd.Kfz.251/16 Ausf.C Flammpanzerwagen
$99.75
The Sd.Kfz.251 German halftrack family was widely employed throughout WWII, with more than 15,000 units built. One family member was the Sd.Kfz.251/16 Ausf.C Flammpanzerwagen, which, as its name suggests, carried flamethrowers. Indeed, there were two 14mm projectors mounted on each hull side. These were supplied by two fuel tanks totaling 700 liters of flammable mixture. This was enough to fuel 80 bursts lasting up to two seconds each. A total of 347 such halftrack flamethrowers were built from January 1943 onwards.
The newest kit portrays such a flammpanzerwagen with a welded hull and there is an impressive level of detail visible in the open-topped fighting compartment, including the projectors, spray tubes and fuel tanks. Indeed, two sets of projectors are offered (with or without covers) to ensure modelers can display the kit precisely as they wish. Two flame operator figures and a driver figure are included, and the former even come with alternate heads wearing field caps or flame proof hoods. This 1/35 scale kit is scorching hot in every imaginable way, so it makes a great addition to Dragon’s upgraded Sd.Kfz.251 family!

Kagero Books - The Italian Heavy Cruiser Pola (SC)
$43.25
Super Drawings in 3D; Carlo Cestra. Pola was a Zara-class heavy cruiser of the Italian Regia Marina operating during the Second World War. She was the fourth of four ships in this class (Zara, Fiume, and Gorizia were the other three), and she was built in the Odero Terni Orlando shipyard in Livorno in 1930, entering service in 1932. At the beginning of 1928, the Italian Regia Marina, not to be disadvantaged compared to other marinas, needed to build new cruisers that could be used with Trento-class ships, until the economic resources of the Italian Government allowed them to build new battleships or to renovate the old ones like Cavour or Giulio Cesare. Since there was a standstill in the building and in the study of projects, the only existing one was what the Navy Ministry had prepared for a Trento-class cruiser in which the thickness of the armor was increased to 150 mm. Illustrated with (1) poster size pull out and 84 pages of 3-D color profiles (including front and back cover).

Kagero Books - The Japanese Battleship Nagato (SC)

The lead ship of her class, she carried supplies for the survivors of the Great Kant? earthquake in 1923. The ship was modernized in 1934-36 with improvements to her armor and machinery and a rebuilt superstructure in the pagoda mast style. Nagato briefly participated in the Second Sino-Japanese War in 1937 and was the flagship of Admiral Isoroku Yamamoto during the attack on Pearl Harbor. She covered the withdrawal of the attacking ships and did not participate in the attack itself. Illustrated with (1) poster size pull out and 84 pages of 3-D color profiles (including front and back cover).

Hasegawa 1/72 Heinkel He111H-6 with Bv246 Hagelkorn
$90.25
Well before WWII started, the He 111 was a tried and true design, once the fastest passenger aircraft in the world. It was soon set to less peaceful purposes, however, as one of the chief bombers of the Luftwaffe. Its reliability and sure design were later harnessed to the famously inaccurate Bv246-an early form of gliding bomb that offered extraordinary range and destructive potential at the cost of virtually any ability to aim. This limited edition kit features an He 111H-6 with new bomb rack parts, a Bv246, and two sets of decals.
Decal Options:
    H-6 Late: Luftwaffe 2./KG100 Code: 6N+SK
H-6 Late: Luftwaffe experimental plane Code: DF+OV

Hasegawa 1/72 B-239 Buffalo 'Finnish Air Force Aces Combo Part 2' [2 kits]
$65.50
The US exported the B-239 Buffalo to Finland in 1939, just before the Winter War between the Soviet Union and Finland. The Buffalo's maneuverability made it a hit with Finnish pilots. These aircraft gave the vastly outnumbered Finnish Air Forces a fighting chance against the Soviet Air Forces as the Winter War morphed into WWII. Finnish forces shot down eight Soviet planes for every one they lost; these air victories helped the Finns maintain their independence after the end of WWII. This limited edition kit combo features decals for three top Finnish pilots.
Decal Options:
    Finnish A.F. 1/LeLv 24 Maj. Eino Luukkanen White 7: BW-393 Nov., 1942

Hasegawa 1/72 Kugisho P1Y1-S/P1Y2 Ginga (Frances) Type 11/Type 16 Night Fighter
$74.00
Designed for low-level torpedo and night bomber attacks, the twin-engine, Yokosuka-built P1Y Ginga began flight trials in the summer of 1943. While initial versions were not deemed impressive by the Imperial Navy, the P1Y1-S, with its increased speed, Type 99 cannons and Type 2 machine guns, was highly regarded and extensively used until the end of WWII. This limited edition kit features metal machine gun parts, photo-etched parts, and three sets of decals.

Hasegawa 1/72 MV-22B Osprey 'Tanker'
$55.50
Training to fly a completely new type of aircraft isn't easy. That's why, when the US Marine Corps started transitioning from traditional helicopters to the tilting-rotor MV-22 Osprey, they assigned VMMT-204 the job of training new pilots. Since 1972, that group has been training Marine Corps aviators. It wasn't until 1999, however, that they started bringing in the first Ospreys. Since then, well over 100 pilots have experienced the speed and vertical landing capabilities of this remarkable aircraft. This limited edition kit features detailed parts and VMMT-204 decals.
Decal Option:
    U.S. Marine VMMT-204 Code: 02:N204TR 2013

Hasegawa 1/72 AJ-37 Viggen 'Natural Metal 2016'
$55.50
The Saab Viggen was the first mass-produced fighter to use canards. Canards improve the landing characteristics and stability of delta wing aircraft. These aircraft were designed to be totally rugged. They could operate in the frigid climate of Sweden. They were easy to maintain so that small groups of inexperience mechanics could keep them running. They could even operate from comparatively small, ad hoc runways. This limited edition kit features detailed parts and full decals for a Swedish Air Force version.
Decal Option:
    Swedish A.F. SwAFHF Code: 7-52 (SE-DXN) F7 2016
