radial engine cylinders?
« on: Thu Aug, 12, 2010, 09:51:PM »
how do you make a 1/32 scale cylinder for a radial engine?

I'm in need of scratchbuilding a particular radial engine (an no one makes a commercial kit of this engine in 1/32 scale) for a model project and can't seem to figure how to make the cylinders.
It's the only thing holding me up in this project (for now).

What particular radial are you doing? Maybe you can modify another one?

Not sure what Radial engine you are looking for, but Roden makes a couple.

Roden 1/32 Gnome Monosoupape 9B

Roden 1/32 Oberursel Ur.II

I am sure I could find something in resin as well from either CMK or Aires.

No sorry, my suppliers don't have those listed. Seems their only distributors are NeOmega, and Parade Figures.
