Designing The Titans of Titanfall
« on: Sun Mar, 16, 2014, 12:55:PM »
Welcome to the new SMA blog, where staff will post links to cool modeling related stuff and share thoughts and ideas. I thought I'd kick things off with this cool video I found while Googling Titanfall Titans, a new game on the XBox that has some pretty killer mechs.

Enjoy and feel free to comment.

Very cool video!!!  Totally wicked awesome mech models!!!  Interesting how they start with wire and block, then build up in layers using model parts etc... to create armor warriors.   Total cool, I have to try this technique one day. Also, check out this site http://www.maschinenkrueger.com/joomla/ This has some really cool dioramas and builds.  I am thinking of making a sand stalker one day.

Yeah it's a cool technique. Makes sense to first build the bones.

I'd love to try my hand at it someday.
